Step 01

Phone OTP Verification

Every new registration must verify a mobile number via one-time password (OTP). This ensures only real, reachable people can create profiles โ€” no anonymous or throwaway accounts.

Manual Admin Review

Before any profile goes live and becomes visible to other members, our admin team manually reviews it. We check for completeness, authenticity, and ensure content meets community standards.

Photo Privacy by Default

Profile photos are not publicly visible to all logged-in members by default. Photos become visible to members who send or receive an interest โ€” putting privacy control in your hands.

Contact Gating

Phone numbers and email addresses are completely hidden from all browsing views. They are shared only when both members have expressed mutual interest โ€” protecting families from unsolicited contact.

Step 05

Government ID Verification (Gold & Platinum)

Gold and Platinum members can optionally submit a Government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport) for an additional verified badge. This extra step builds greater family confidence.

Ongoing Moderation

Our team actively monitors profiles and member reports. Profiles that receive complaints or show suspicious behaviour are reviewed immediately and removed if needed.

What We Do Not Claim

  • โ†’ We do not claim that all profiles are 100% verified in the sense of background-checked โ€” admin review is a quality gate, not a court-level identity proof.
  • โ†’ We do not verify income, employment, or educational claims unless the member submits supporting documents voluntarily under a future programme.
  • โ†’ Government ID verification is optional and limited to Gold & Platinum plan members who choose to submit it.

If you encounter a profile that seems inauthentic, abusive, or misrepresenting itself, use the Report button on the profile page. Our admin team reviews all reports and takes action within 24 hours on working days.
