Is my child's profile safe and private?

Yes. Photos are hidden from all browsing views by default — they are only visible to members who exchange interest. Phone numbers and email addresses are completely hidden until both parties express mutual interest. No stranger can contact your family without your consent.

How do we know profiles are genuine?

Every profile must pass phone OTP verification and manual admin review before going live. Our admin team reviews each profile for completeness and authenticity. Gold and Platinum members can additionally submit a Government ID for a stronger verified badge.

Can we do a proper Kundli check before deciding?

Yes. Our free Kundli tool generates a full Ashtakuta (8-Koota) report — Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot, and Nadi — out of 36 points. The report is formatted to be shared with your family pandit for review. Nadi Dosha and Bhakoot Dosha flags are included with cancellation analysis.

Can we check Gotra before expressing interest?

Yes. Gotra is a visible field on every profile. You can see the Gotra of a potential match before sending interest. Profiles with the same Gotra will be flagged in the Kundli matching report.

Can parents manage the profile on behalf of their child?

Yes. You can register and manage a profile on behalf of your son or daughter. Many families on VaidikVivah are parent-managed, especially for the initial browsing and shortlisting phase. The profile can be handed to the son/daughter once a shortlist is ready.
